Goaltending Program

Overview 

Designed for goaltenders of all ages , levels of experience and ability. Goaltenders will work more 1 on 1 with qualified goaltending instructors at goalie only practice each day.

This program has been specifically designed to cater for goaltenders of all ages in that the on ice sessions each morning will be conducted by at least one Head Coach and a number of Goalie Assistant Coaches and Player Assistant Coaches. 

Head Coaches and Goalie Assistant Coaches will provide 1-on-1 tuition and instruction on technique and positioning utilising various coaching methods. Player Assistant Coaches will act as shooters on the Goalie sessions to ensure participants receive adequate shooting to ensure each drill and example is carried out for the maximum benefit of the participant. 

Goaltenders will also receive specific Video / Lectures for the Head Goaltending Instructor.

The difference between the Best of British Goaltending Camp and other hockey schools / goalie specific camps is the variety offered. Best of British aim to ensure Goaltenders receive the very best in goaltender specific coaching in the morning session. Participants will then be allocated to join the Hockey School, Development Camp, Elite Camp, or PRO Camp, for the remaining ice sessions. This allows the participant to instantly use and refine the skills learned in the morning session in game like experiences against players of his/her own age and ability. Goaltending Coaching will be on ice ice throughout the day to assist in refining skills and aiding the participants at all times.
