History
“Best of British Ice Hockey Camps” began in August 2003 and since that time has grown from strength to strength and is Britain’s Premier Ice Hockey Camp. At this time we boast an incredible record of selling out each and every camp we have delivered since our inaugural camp in 2003. The camp has incredible national appeal with participants from areas all over the UK including Coventry, Sheffield, London, Belfast, Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh to name but a few attending the camp on a regular basis. During the past two years the camp has also taken on an International flavour with participants travelling from countries such as France, Sweden, Dubai, Germany, Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates illustrating our mass appeal! Our broad and ever increasing customer base reinforces our growing reputation and the quality of our programme. Our inaugural camp at the Magnum Leisure Centre, Irvine in 2003 was run with a total of 32 participants. In 2006 we operated 6 camps throughout the UK with a total of 311 participants, a massive increase of over 800% in our short 5 year history.
And were still growing, this year we have added an additional 2 camps to the calander which normally consists of Easter, Summer and Christmas Camps. To date we have worked with over 1,500 junior players through more than 32 camps.
We have also received considerable interest in the camps from overseas, not only in our ability to attract International participants for our UK programme but also for Best of British to operate camps abroad.
